Why Green?

Green building is the concept of sustainable development, Green buildings are high performance and are intended to be environmentally responsible, energy efficient, economically profitable, and health places to live and work.

  • As a group we felt it was important to maximize opportunities to achieve superior energy efficiencies and implement green building standards and practices. This mean placing importance on the amount of resources used to construct and operate the
building and to increase the efficiency with which the building uses energy, water and materials.

  • The green building practices we used will reduce the building impact on human health and the environment through design, construction, operation, maintenance, and waste.

  • It is clear green buildings is here to stay as the economic realities are enticing more developer, building owners and investors embrace green building techniques within their decision processes.

  • We think it’s important to follow the U.S. Green Building Council guidelines LEED, Leader ship in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). We think that buildings that don’t do this will become obsolete and our buildings will continue to be high performance can increase in value.

  • There is much to be gained by the tenants of green buildings and it’s not limited to lower operation costs primarily on saved energy and water. But also, lower exposure to energy price volatility and cost escalation.
